CHALLENGE

Boss Digital were comissioned to scope, design and build a Web, IOS and Android App that for the serves the Members of the Ladies Recreation Club.

The Moblie App offers a suites of facility, event, dining, spa, hair dresser booking tools, an e-store for ordering Wine, a members online account, statement and personalised push notifications sent to Members based on their interests at the Club.

The App has been running successfully for the past 4 years.

SOLUTION

Boss Digital designed and developed a modern and mobile responsive public website, and a private members website and mobile apps, using Facebook React Native's app development framework.

This allowed Boss Digital to create a suite of member services available on the Web, IOS and Android Apps in one project. The App is completely tailored and customised for the LRC Members, to utilise the Club services at their finger tips.

The App gives members the ability to check their account statement, update their personal details, address, communication preferences and interests within the Club. It provides members the ability to book facilities, upcoming events, reserve the spa, reserve library books, and search, browse and filter promotions, events and Club notices. Members can also send enquiries for coaching, kids classes and private functions via the App to the relevant LRC staff.

The App has the ability to send targeted push notifications to Member's based on their interests or sections of the Clubs they are a part of. We're now in the day where "one to all" communications is no longer effective. This App allows more direct communication to members using their preferences that can set in the App.

The App gives Club staff the ability to create, publish and promote upcoming events, notices and promotions to members through push notifications and/or email. The App also reduces labour costs from reservations and admin staff being alleviated with self service 24 hour booking tool. The LRC App is running well has given the Club the ability to create more member engagement, increase online bookings and enhance the LRC member services.
